Are there any pre-requisite courses required?
Yes, all students must first complete our Jewelry Repair Course, which runs for one week (March 31 – April 6) before the Certified Bench Jeweler Program begins. This ensures students have a strong foundation in basic jewelry repair skills.
Will I receive a certification at the end of this course?
Yes! Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive a Certified Bench Jeweler Certificate, which can help with employment opportunities or starting a jewelry business.
How long is the course?
The Certified Bench Jeweler Program is an intensive, hands-on, 4-week training course designed to teach essential jewelry repair, stone setting, metal fabrication, and finishing techniques. Upon completion, students receive a Bench Jeweler Certification that can help launch or advance a career in the jewelry industry.
What tools and materials are provided?
All necessary tools and materials are provided during the course. However, students are welcome to bring their own tools if they wish to practice with familiar equipment.
